Freedman v. Brutzkus (March 12, 2010, California Court of Appeal, Second District), holding that an attorney's signature on a settlement document indicating that the attorney "approved as to form and content" is a representation that the attorney was representing his or her clients, had read and understood the document, and that the document was in the proper form and represented the agreement of the parties. However, the approval as to form and content is not a representation by the attorney that any of the parties will abide by or fulfill the agreement.
